After years of my Mercedes AMG alloys cracking at the slightest sight of a pothole, and extended periods off of the road whilst getting them repaired, I decided to just go for new wheels. I opted for the wheel and tyre package. Even though the same size as was on the car didn't seem to appear, after contacting customer services, they sorted it out quickly. On arrival, the standard wheel bolts in the fitting kit were too long, but with a couple of photos, and a quick email chat with customer services again, that was resolved within a day. All in all, I couldn't be happier. It looks far less likely that the rims will crack, and I don't know if it is the new rims, the new Tyres (not a brand I'd tried before), or maybe both. But the ride is smoother, and even when you miss potholes and travel over those patched road repairs, there's no clunking or jarring that there was before. Very pleased I swapped out the originals!
